What we do
Work we take on
We take on built-in joinery, wardrobes, doors, stairs and the carpentry in kitchen, laundry and single-room renovations. A small built-in typically starts around $3,000; a full single-room fit-out can reach $20,000. Every quote is in writing, with a five-year workmanship warranty.
Built-in shelving & wardrobes
Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, alcove built-ins, sliding-door wardrobes, walk-in wardrobes with custom internals. Matched to the existing trim, painted or oiled to your finish.
Three days to two weeks depending on scope
Internal doors & door hardware
Solid timber doors, panel doors, sliding doors, cavity sliders. Frame installation, architraves matched to existing profile, brass or matte black hardware to spec.
One to two days per door
Kitchen & laundry trim
Once the cabinets are in, we fit skirting, architraves, splashback trim and cornices, and scribe timber to walls that are not straight.
Two to five days
Single-room fit-outs
Bedroom, study, bathroom, or living-room carpentry packages. The full carpentry scope of a single-room refresh: walls, trims, joinery, doors, floors as needed.
One to three weeks per room
Stair carpentry
Internal staircases, balustrades, handrails, newel posts, tread replacement on existing stairs. Timber or steel-and-timber combinations, finished to match the rest of the home.
One to two weeks for a new staircase
Renovation carpentry
We handle framing changes, lintels, wall openings, subfloor repairs and finish carpentry, coordinating our work with the other trades on your renovation.

Step 01
Free site visit
Ramon visits the site within 48 hours of your call to discuss the work, materials and timing with your other trades.
Step 02
Written quote & scope
You get a fixed written quote with each item listed. If we uncover work that changes the scope, we show you what we found and ask for written approval before proceeding.
Step 03
Build start
Single-room fit-outs usually take one to three weeks on site. Built-ins and wardrobes take three days to a fortnight. We protect the work area and pack up each afternoon.

Before you call
How long does it take to install built-in wardrobes?
A standard sliding-door wardrobe in an existing alcove takes about three to five days. Floor-to-ceiling built-ins with custom internals (drawers, hanging, shelving) run one to two weeks. Walk-in wardrobes with full joinery are typically a fortnight, depending on size and finish.
What's the difference between a joinery carpenter and a cabinetmaker?
A cabinetmaker usually makes the cabinetry in a workshop. We fit joinery into the room, including scribing it to walls and finishing the surrounding trim and doors. We can also work with your cabinetmaker.
Can you work alongside our kitchen designer or cabinetmaker?
Yes. We coordinate the carpentry with your designer, cabinetmaker and other trades. Our work can include skirting, architraves, doors, trim and cornices after the cabinets are installed.
Do you do flat-pack assembly or only custom?
We mostly build custom joinery, but we can install a quality flat-pack system. Send us the specifications and we will quote the installation.
How much does a custom built-in cost in Canberra?
Built-in shelves in an alcove start around $3,000 to $4,000. A floor-to-ceiling wardrobe with custom internals is usually $5,000 to $12,000. A walk-in fit-out is typically $12,000 to $20,000. We confirm the price in a written quote.
Do you handle the painting and finishing?
We sand, fill and prime the carpentry. We do oil and wax finishes on raw timber. For larger painting jobs, we can coordinate a painter or work with yours.
Can you work in an occupied home?
Yes. We protect the access path, separate the work area where needed, and pack up tools and offcuts each afternoon. We will explain which parts of the room you can use during the work.
